This pizzeria has a relaxed and homely feel. The decor is rustic, with wooden tables and rendered walls adorned with nostalgic Italian ornaments. The fast and friendly service has a casual approach. The point of difference, says owner Eugenio, is the pizza dough, which is prepared fresh every hour. There is also a range of seafood dishes, such as the cozze alla marinara, a big bowl of mussels served in a tomato sauce with garlic, parsley, chilli and wine, served with crusty Italian bread. The simple wine list features Italian and Australian wines, many available by the glass.

Best pizzas in canberra bar none
Went with a group for birthday celebrations and we had the best pizzas I've had in Canberra. Super fresh ingredients and plenty of it. Really great value, friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Awesome pizzas
My wife and I have been here several times, and it's always good. After a long search, La Capanna stands out for me as having the best pizzas in Canberra, and while the pasta is nothing fantastic, the pizzas themselves make a trip to this restaurant worthwhile. The service is friendly and prompt, and the staff always willing to help an undecided diner with difficult decisions.

Great Birthday Lunch
Celebrated my birthday there. Loved all the food from the garlic bread to the mussels to dessert. Friendly and efficient service. One of the best Italian places on Canberra

the best Italian!
One of my favourite places in Canberra. The seafood dishes are just fantastic and the pizzas are beautiful. The service can be eccentric, but the pasta is perfectly al-dente; the shellfish combined with the tomato and chilli sauces is impossible to beat. If you want great southern Italian dishes with a seafood bent and/or non-greasy delicious pizzas at great prices, this is the place. PS - order a glass of the house Sangiovese if you want a nice drink.

Always a good performer!
Staff are great, atmosphere is great and the pizzas are brilliant! Have been there sometimes and found the service slow, but more often than not they are on the ball. Always a good option for eating out or a takeaway pizza.

Great Place
This is a great place - probably my favourite in Kingston - the food is great, staff are always friendly and it's all served in a timely manner. If you visit Kingston, be sure to visit this restaurant.

Lovely little restaurant with great food
This is the second time i have been to this cosy little restaurant, and once again I was not disappointed! The service is great, the decor is lovely and rustic, and the food is reasonably priced and delicious. The prosciutto and blue cheese pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. I will definitely be back!
