Koots has been a favourite among the well-to-do Kooyong set for several years now. It is spoken of with the sort of affection usually reserved for a gifted child, and chef Patrice Repellin has long had a place in the hearts of the local matrons. Repellin's cuisine is modern French, which seems to mean traditionally inspired dishes without anything too heavy or overly rich. The restaurant itself - a tiny space with bistro chairs and lots of white linen - is similarly stylish and comfortable without being overdone. Koots leaves its loyal patrons feeling pampered and utterly adored. No wonder they keep coming back.

Gourmet Traveller Feature Review - "Koots has undergone something of a minor revolution: a new name to reflect its proud Gallic roots, more convivial dining spaces and a revamped wine list, writes Michael Harden. "

Lovely Valentines' Dinner
Love the food, love the service and atmosphere. If the weather allows, I would highly recommend you to book a table in their cosy courtyard. Waitresses are gorgeous and friendly :). We had their Valentines' menu, the food is just purely supurb! Definitly will go back again!

Bewshiful!
We were really impressed with a divine meal of modern-ish French food in a cosy intimate atmoshpere. The oysters were a stand-out. Sitting in the courtyard is a must for the warmer weather. I'd heard it mentioned on 'Kath and Kim' by Pru and Trude and it was "Bewshhiful".
