Koko Black

The second cafe in the Koko Black story, this version carries on founder Shane Hill's dream. The cafe is referred to in the Koko Black vernacular as a 'salon' and the stylish European decor and air of delicious decadence makes this an entirely appropriate term. Chocolates are displayed like works of art or edible gems for customers to salivate over. A rich hot chocolate made from melted Belgian confection will best sate the resulting cravings. Breakfasts at the cafe are gloriously Continental in their indulgent use of sweet flavours.

I'll Have to Come Back
I have never had a hot chocolate this delicious before - the first sip was (excuse the cliche but it really was) absolutely heavenly. But so rich I had to share the cup by the end. Friendly staff, really helpful with topping up the water (chocolate suprisingly makes you quite thirsty).

The only downer was that they had a 'white chocolate beer' on the menu which we were informed when trying to order that it was no longer imported.

Hot chocolates are sinful!!
Hot chocolates are so creamy, it's gorgeous! Always very busy, but staff were great in trying to cater for a big group. Expect a wait.
