Quietly opening on Norton Street in early 2011, this Japanese diner is yet another beacon of Leichhardt's slow and steady diversification. As the name suggests, bento boxes are the plat du jour at Koi, ranging from your favourite staples such as chicken teriyaki to indulgent tuna sashimi. It's quick, no fuss and a very welcome addition to Norton Street's dining set.
