This multi-award-winning Indian restaurant is one of the true culinary shining lights north of the sparkling Gold Coast.
The menu at King's Indian deals mainly in North Indian specialties, so expect plenty of subtly spiced curries and tandoori dishes. Southern dishes aren't completely ignored though, with a pleasantly fiery prawn madras tipping its cap in the direction of the lower subcontinent. To get a real taste of the cooking going on here try the vindaloo; the seminal spicy dish is classic Indian at its best and the version at King's is a laudable representation.
