With an open fire place, candle lighting and unique artwork adorning the walls, Kimberley's restaurant, in the Paddington Ale House, provides a warm and intimate dining experience. Or if you're stopping in for lunch, you might prefer to escape to the sunny courtyard and enjoy a cool beer as you await your meal. Try the herb and garlic lamb shanks with chunky potatoes and roasted vegetables.

Oh dear...
Now I am not one to complain (usually), but I seriously had the worst meal of my entire life last Saturday. But let me start at the beginning. The Paddo on a Saturday night after a big rugby match is no place to even entertain the idea of having a meal (unless you've been there drinking all day!) The smoke from the coven of faggin dragons at the front door wafted through despite the folding doors being closed. The toilets were in a disgusting state and I thought I'd seen my last queue for one when I stopped clubbing years ago! Food service was OK in view of the fact that you place your own order at the counter and they arrived in reasonably good time. My husband said his steak was passable, but fatty. My Asian fettucine with mixed seafood was beyond abhorrent! Besides the fact that the quality of the seafood was average, the dressing appeared to be pure fish sauce making the entire dish inedible. At least it only cost $21 (still exhorbitant in view of the quality) however as we were in a group of 40 (could this be accepted as an excuse for the poor meal I wonder!) I chose not to complain and make a scene. Have had questionable experiences here before and this confirmed my suspicions. Will not dine here again if I have a choice.
