Recently spruced up in 2008, the Kentish Arms Hotel hasn't lost one bit of its old-fashioned charm. From the classic front bar to the refurbished dining room and beer garden, this vibrant venue is a practical and relaxing space where you can enjoy the good company of friends, both old and new. With a good pub comes a good pub menu, so it's no surprise to find an enticing selection of bites at The Kentish, ranging from bangers and mash to crab linguine to fillet mignon. Chocolatey and citrusy delights dominate the dessert menu, which is well complemented by the classy coffees, liqueurs, dessert wines and ports on hand. Of course, there's no such thing as a beer garden without beer, and this hotel offers various frothy beverages on tap including Bulmers, Coopers and Asahi.

Filling pub grub
Visited for the second time and enjoyed a steak and a mixed crumbed seafood dish (fish of the day, plus 2 prawns & 2 scallops). The salad on the side was a little tired, but as we visited at the end of the public holiday period it was forgivable. Service was friendly and efficient. Steak was ordered medium-rare and cooked accordingly.
