Formerly an institution on Surry Hill's Crown St, Kelly's now lives in swankier surrounds within the Westfield Bondi Junction. As all three owners come from South Africa, there's a large influence of that nation's food, from boerewors sausages, to steak and rib basting and a sauce that bears the name 'monkey business'. You'll also find a good number of South Africans among the clientele. Overall, the menu features a range of grilled meats and seafood (the secret sauce is available to buy), so come here when you've got a hearty appetites or when you feel like catching a feed before a film upstairs.

Complaints? Where?
This is the service every man loves. Nice steak, nice cold beer... and what a view! ( the cinema is upstairs! ) The steak is to die for... literally. Great service - I thought it was poor to begin with, but then I realised it was just me, i.e. mouth watering, biting my nails, the usual reactions when you can smell the steaks from the kitchen. Like I titled this post, complaints? where? I haven't heard a bad thing about this place! Compliments to the owner... and more importantly the chef! Top job guys.

The best
Kelly's is possibly one of the best places in Sydney for pork ribs. The meat just falls off the bone. Calamari and boerewors are a MUST TRY (both available on the mixed entree platter with chicken wings as well - also good). They also do a good seafood platter. Steaks were a bit disappointing. Complimentary bread is served warm at the beginning for the table - an absolute winner! Their chocolate brownie with fudge sauce is divine - heaven in the mouth! Service can be a bit slow at times, but not enough to try your patience. Can generally get reservations even on short notice, and how can you argue with a view of Sydney's beautiful cityscape, bridge and all. If you can, try and get a table on the balcony (even in winter it's warm because it's heated).

The Best Steak Ever
Previously my best steak was at a restaurant in Noosa. This beat it hands down. And you have to try the Boerwors.

I LOVE YOU GUYS!
My mouth is watering just thinking about it! in all honesty and jokes aside, the menu has something for everyone, and cooked to perfection everytime considering i am there all the time!The service i cannot explain i don't know how you guys keep a smile on your face all the time when you are so busy and getting ordered around!but thank you for putting up with it because it will definetley bring us back! oh and as for the atmosphere.........it is very romantic, inside and out!(maybe throw in a couple of booths, reason being my boyfriend thinks noone is watching when he rips into steak or ribs!).....see you tonight!
