Irene Dudley heads this quirky, friendly establishment, a place that is great for kids as it includes a large playroom. Kapers specialises in adding a Mediterranean twist to Australian cooking, which can be tasted in such classics as the cheese rolls and beef Wellington. Although Irene is undoubtedly a friendly soul, she promises to be extra nice if you phone ahead.

miss irene
had home made spring rolls - simply superb followed by mouthwatering rib fillet with peppercorn sauce fresh spinach and mashed potato with creme fraiche -yummo. Not that often I get to enjoy such good food. If i had room i would have certainly had the round the world oysters - not always on menu so pays to ask in advance they are amazing and every customer has their own preference.
