Like its Indian curries and Nepalese specialties, this Caulfield North restaurant is a warm and comforting diner with many textures. From the crimson, mauve and brown walls to the neat red-and-white-clothed tables, Kantipur Restaurant creates a setting in which diners can calmly enjoy the unique flavours to come.
While you'll recognise Indian staples like tandoori lamb cutlets, chicken vindaloo and goat curry, it's the Nepalese dishes that may entice you into further exploration. Some of these include the Country Captain (a tender lamb dish with potato, cashew nuts and fresh spinach leaves) and the tarka daal with mixed yellow lentils.
