The gracious and genuine staff at this cheerful new addition to the Clayfield dining scene will not only feed you their authentic and wide-ranging Indian specialties but will educate you on the amazing food's history while you're at it. And there's plenty to learn about, from the Punjabi street food to the kadahi chicken (smoky curry and tandoor smoked chicken in an almond and onion sauce) and the banjara gosht (a rich, spicy, tomato-y curry). Get in Thursday to Saturday nights for the very special mud crab, either masala-style with dhal and basmati rice or Asian-style with stir-fried veggies. There's also a full vegan and separate vegetarian menu, so this cosy little bistro-style place really goes above and beyond to satisfy all tastes.
