Kaiser Stub'n Restaurant is authentically loyal to its mother countries, Austria and Germany. The recorded voice that bellows down the line when you call to make a booking after hours has a Bavarian twang and the wait staff wear lederhosen.
The walls of Kaiser Stub'n act as a gallery of sorts, proudly hosting images of Neuschwanstein Castle captured from various angles, certificates, Germanic clocks, old antlers and the odd boar's head.
There is not really a downtime at Kaiser Stub'n as it isn't really a well-kept secret. The tables that stretch out in uniform lines across the room are almost always full. Think sauerkraut, pork knuckle that literally falls off the bone with a bit of gentle persuasion and more dumplings than you can poke a stein at.
Visitors to Kaiser Stub'n can choose to reserve a table in one of the two dining areas - either the more homely, cosy interior section of the restaurant or in the enclosed glass balcony area with views of the Terrey Hills bushland.
