Kadoya

Cheap, clean and simple decor accommodates the cafe-style crowd who are after traditional Japanese fare. Set in a shopping mall, but effective nonetheless.

Uni students
When you want something to fill you up, cheap, and a bit of variety, Kodoya's the way to go. It's always packed, but it's where the majority of the uni students go =D

Always packed during lunch time
You can't beat the taste and the value here! The packed crowds during lunchtime every single day could be attributed solely to the great food. Service is always with a smile, and nothing's over $10 if I recall.

They don't serve sushi or teppanyaki though, just hearty wholesome food like katsu curries and noodle dishes.

I love this place!
Crappy little 'hole in the wall' restaurant - but don't let this put you off! The food is ample, cheap, and really good. My favourite place to eat. It's all about the food, not the presentation.
