Just a few steps down Tum Tum Tree Lane takes you to the Juicy Beetroot Vegetarian Cafe, a Fremantle staple for vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs and pretty much anyone else who has a penchant for homely and healthy cafe food. The "food for the soul", as their propped-up sign outside the cafe dubs it, includes pies, burgers, salads, curries, bread rolls, homemade cakes, and some drinks for the soul too, such as the freshly squeezed juices, the smoothies and the top-notch coffees (organic is available too).
