This authentic Japanese restaurant is split into two sections, hence the double-barrelled name. The Jugemu space is all about teppanyaki and in particular their okonomiyaki (Japanese-style pancakes), while the Shimbashi side of the restaurant focuses on soba (handmade buckwheat noodles). Before you start waving your hands in the air and shouting confused profanities, it's not hard to navigate your way around and no matter where you sit, you can still order from the other section. This is not the place for people just looking for a cheap 'whatever' meal; this is a quality restaurant with some unique dishes that extend far beyond the stereotypical sushi and teriyaki.
