You can't help but smile when you hear the name "Joy Kitchen", what with its unabashed optimism and all. But past the good intentions is an immensely popular Cantonese-based Chinese restaurant that's been around the block for quite a while, yet still remains on the radar of locals and visitors alike. The dining setting is one of the attractions, with its large round white-clothed tables (good for groups), the myriad flower arrangements, and a lovely location just a short stroll to the ports. Last but not least, there's the food. You'll find much joy to be had in dishes like the duck crepe, local crab meat and sweet corn soup, sizzling spicy pork spare ribs, Szechuan chilli fish, and plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free offerings.
