Jonah's

Palm Beach - the playground of the rich and famous and home to the extravagance of Jonah's. There is not an ounce of beach-casual style about Jonah's, and not a plate of fish and chips to be seen. From the luxury of the nine-course degustation, to the textbook service and of course, that million-dollar view, Jonah's is an exercise in pure indulgence.

Wonderful place, can't wait to go back!
I've been told that it's best to go to Jonah's when you can appreciate the view, but the food was so wonderful and the wine great (Krinklewood Chardonnay) and the service fantastic! I would love to go back and see the view and next time have the multi-course menu. I ordered things that I normally don't usually eat, such as a yellow fin tuna and whiting (I'm not a great lover of seafood.) It was just so beautiful and different to ordinary food, it wasn't heavy, it was full of flavour. The dessert was wonderful as well.

If they cared ....
If they cared the service would have been good, they would have made us feel comfortable and relaxed. They would have noticed the wine had not turned up before the entrees were nearly finished. The food presentation would have been done with care; we would have gotten a meal that was worth the money.
Sadly this was not the case. We left after a night that should have been wonderful, a birthday celebration, feeling very disappointed and wondering why it all had gone wrong.
