Nice Evening Out
I really like Jo Jo's. The food is always of great quality, the service is wonderful (although it sometimes seems very hard to get anyone's attention), and the location is lovely. Pricing is fair, although the alcohol seems to be a tad overpriced if you ask me. My biggest disappointment about this place, and what surprised me whend I first dined here after receiving raving reviews and recommendations, was that they have red vinyl table covers??!! What the? It is supposedly quite a well respected dining place, and they have sticky, old, ugly red table covers? I can't quite understand that. It is also a bit of a squeeze as far as seating goes on the jetty, but that's bareable. It's a great place though - can go casual or dressy - both fit in! Book in advance though, and try to ask for a table away from the toilet doors...

Fantastic Meal + View
Well, my boss decided to have our annual Christmas lunch here and we dined to a set menu - around $60ish/head I think. The weather on this day was beautiful and the views over the Swan River over to Applecross/South Perth was magnificent.
Entrees were really good - a selection of ham/salami/olives and others with a variety of condiments to match. The quality and quantity was good and I was quite full at this early stage!
A staff member then came around and took our orders for mains. I selected the chicken one with the potato (which was baked to perfection) and tasted absolutely amazing!!!
So far I was very impressed, and I had to talk off the amount of food I had just ingested.
Dessert comprised of a really wide-variety of fruits/cakes that was really filling/sweet/tasty. I wish I could have had more, but I was totally knackered at this point.
In between all this, I had some red and some lemonade, which added to the meal. Overall a fantastic dining experience.
The only thing I could think of that wasn't quite up to scratch was the fact that there was hardly any room to walk around, we were sitting on top of the river on the jetty, and the table/chairs pretty much covered the entire width of the jetty area.
Other than that, everything was really top-notch, well worth the money (plus the views are really really good)!
