This sunny corner cafe with a mismatched array of tables and chairs spilling out onto the footpath is a popular Bondi haunt. Run by chef Guy Turland (ex Icebergs and Est.) and his ex-Olympic sprinter mother Heather, it's both a chilled-out cafe by day and a more intimate wine bar and restaurant come weekend evenings. The breakfast menu is available all day and includes some killer pancakes with mixed berries, which also just happen to be gluten and dairy-free (they're made from rice and tapioca flour).
That's the general gist of the menu here - everything is the most organic, free range and healthy version of itself possible, and yet it's all so hearty and tasty that it won't have you reaching for a family block of chocolate afterwards to devour in seconds like other 'healthy' (read: rabbit food) options. Come back at lunchtime and again early evening for a gorgeous, contemporary lunch and dinner menu or just a drink while the sun goes down to soak up the quintessential Bondi vibes.
