I'm not sure what this popular pizza chain was thinking, naming their restaurants after what is arguably the most consistently disliked pizza topping in history, but they certainly don't seem to be suffering for it.
Instead of spreading themselves thin with a range of pastas and Italian-style trappings, this locals' pizza joint astoundingly sticks to just pizzas - and very good pizzas at that.
The starter options include garlic pizza, margherita pizza and basil pesto pizza. For mains, the pizza options are divided into traditional style and gourmet, with classics like the New Yorker (spicy pepperoni, Italian sausage, fresh mushrooms and cooked with cheese on the bottom like the native NYC variety), through to taste sensations like the Lamb-Scaper (a mouth-watering combination of slow-cooked marinated lamb with sweet potato, grilled capsicum, caramelized onion, fetta and tzaziki).
