Keeping up the standards set by its sister eatery in Manuka, this Jewel of India shines its light on the Melbourne Building on West Row. While everyone knows most of the staple dishes on an Indian menu, this eatery draws upon diverse regional recipes from across India, so it's not all butter chicken and lamb vindaloo (as great as these classics are). You'll find specialties like fish methi masala (fish mildly spiced in tomato, onion and fenugreek), a Goanese prawn curry, and the luscious fig and honey kulfi with strawberry coulis (their desserts are especially enticing!).
