It may not look like much from the outside but step inside this little Beaufort Street eatery and you'll see Jessie's is a haven for Inglewood locals in the know. Born in Sri Lanka, Jessie and her husband were both raised in Malaysia, hence the presence on the menu of both Sri Lankan and Malaysian flavours, which blend in perfect unity.
Jessie herself is the only one at the helm in the kitchen, and her warm, friendly husband works front of house to make this a completely welcoming, friendly experience. There is no charge for corkage, and the incredible curries and the particularly awesome dosa are ridiculously cheap. All in all, a great spot for a causal, relaxed meal with a bottle of wine and no bells or whistles.
