Building on Jeremy's already strong reputation for a great cup of coffee, chef David Hughes is providing patrons with a creative menu, plumping up the bistro side of this successful espresso bar. This stylish modern Australian bistro offers office workers and city dwellers a flexible little local, being conducive to either a leisurely conversation over a cup of coffee or a more structured dining experience. Those who opt for a sit-down meal will find that each dish is thoughtfully married with a suggested wine. Jeremy's conveniently also offers wine by the half glass - a guilt-free way to take the edge off a testing work day.

Good food, convenient location
There were 4 of us and we had 4 great meals. The mushrooms on toast were prefectly cooked, scrambled eggs and the Turkish eggs had lots of flavour and we also had poached eggs with bacon. Prices ranged from $13 to $17.50. The service was friendly and prompt. The food did not arrive very quickly, but it was worth the wait and I take comfort in that this means they're not taking short cuts. Strange for a coffee place these days not to offer soy. Our only disappointment was not being able to have breakfast there again on Sunday as they were booked out.

oh too salty and not so malty
I step into the smooth, sleek looking affair that is Jeremy's. I am greeted by the warm and attractive floor staff and share my work day sorrows. I hold high hopes for this little flower, for there are limited pickings in the food garden of inner brisbane. Swiftly I am presented with my food and...no sooner am I disappointed. The salad of rare beef and asian greens was drowned in a salty sauce. The oh too salty and not so malty sauce was meant to be a port reduction. If there was a way to revive my sodium seared taste buds the staff at Jeremy's certainly would have tried. They were kind enough to offer another option, and again, whipped it up in a jiffy. Unfortunately, the impeccable service does not make up for the shortcomings of the cuisine. Go for the coffee, skip the eats.
