Stroll along the boardwalk and slink into Jellyfish Restaurant, a modern fine dining establishment set right by the water near Brisbane's Riverside Centre. Fresh line-caught fish is their specialty, including local beauties like goldband snapper and Coral Bream. Those who are a bit fishy about fish are also well looked after, with dishes such as crispy skin duck, wagyu beef fillet and roasted rack of lamb also on the menu.

Perfect location, great food!
I went to Jellyfish last month with my sister and had one of the most amazing nights. We couldnt have asked for better weather, we were sitting outside with a clear view of the story bridge. We shared the whole barra which was AMAZING and had the yummiest sauce! We each had a couple of cocktails which were delicious. The service was impeccable and friendly. We could not find a fault! If you lookng for great views and even better food then dont go any further then Jellyfish!

Wonderful place for a special occasion.
We have been to Jellyfish twice now. We keep coming back simply because the food is fresh, beautifully presented and tastes absolutely amazing. We had the Tian Prawn and crab with avocardo stack- how devine. Mains- Speghettini with crab meat and prawns with a gorgeous tomato based sauce with whole cherry tomatoes. We recommend this. Service was perfect. Our waiter couldnt do enough for us. We also saw a older gentleman waiter, (who has obviously been a waiter for a long time)greet a table, laughing with them, sat down and had a chat. He was the highlight of the night. What service! if there is a downside, i'd say that the price is a little steep. It's worth it though for the experience.

Underwhelming
From riverside it can give the impression of fine dining with imtimate settings for 2 in the front with spectacular river views. However, book a little too late or forget to request the right table and you immediately realise its not the atmosphere you are after - the restaurant is noisy, as a result of large groups having a good boozy (probably post work) time.
The menu and food resembles that of an over priced fish and chip shop. I don't beleive it is fine dining.
The presentation of waiters was good and while they appeared inexperienced were polite and attentative as they could be with the tight layout of tables, and noise to speak over. The professional appearance of staff was disjointed by front of house staff being dressed overly casual compared to waiters and maitre'd.
Potentially the underwhelming experience was a result of misconception about what this restaurant would offer. Probably ok for groups wanting decent location thats not overconcerned on value for money.

Paradise on a plate!!
Even the cutlery & crockery were just that little bit nicer, the service was personal, the ingredients were super fresh, and I think they have an angel in the kitchen! An entree of scallops, seared to perfection, steak that had rested in the paddock, and then again prior to being kissed on both sides by the grill, delicious sides, great view, definitely my benchmark from now on!

Lovely food, poor organisation back of house
The restaurant food was great and our waiter was really wonderfull unfortunately, the back of house were very unorganised - drink ordered came out after the main course (was requested to come out first) and our other drinks came out before our main - requested to come out with our food.
The restaurant was also very noisy.

second chance
great restaurant. Service was great. Restaurant is very noisy, find it very hard to hear even on a Thursday night! Food was good, my partner obviously made a better choice than me as she ordered her fish grilled and I ordered mine with tempura batter, which was really disappointing and just like the batter you would get at a fish and chip shop. In saying that I would go back and give it another try to see if it was really choice!
