Adding a bit of sugary sunshine to your day, Jazz Apple Cafe shows that you don't have to be a kid to enjoy a delicious cupcake. Who could resist flavours like triple chocolate mud, lemon and poppy seed, and strawberry and white chocolate? Each week, owner/chef Sharon Mitchell selects nine different varieties from her back log, so you never know what might pop up (though if you're coeliac the best bet is to go with the gluten-free chocolate cake). On Saturdays, Jazz Apple offers high teas jam-packed with cupcakes, coffee, loose-leaf teas and a bit of background jazz.

I'm in Heaven
OMG...... I have found my heaven!! The cupcakes looked gorgeous and my sister even had 3 different Vegan cupcakes flavours to pick from. There were 10 flavours to choose from - we tried 6 of them - and they were just devine. My favourite was the baked Apple and caramel. The Coffee was lovely, vibrant atmosphere and the service was just WONDERFUL, the young man who served us made us feel very welcome which can be hit and miss when you have 3 young children in tow. The kids got the most amazing babycinno's I have ever seen and were given colouring books and pencils to help keep them amused. I couldn't help myself and took a dozen home with me and I am devouring a mixed berry and choc chip cupcake as i write this. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Beautifully presented but ordinary flavours
The atmosphere is nice, the location is great and the staff are always friendly. The cupcakes are always beautifully presented but they are too ordinary for the price. There isn't really a large diversity in flavours as they promote - any chocolate based cupcake has the same cake and buttercream just topped with a different bit of chocolate bar.
Nice for a small snack every now and then but I wouldn't order a large amount for a special occasion.

Ordinary for the price
Maybe the atmosphere and service in person makes up for the cupcakes, but the box we were given for afternoon tea looked great - but was very disappointing when we bit into them. The only time in our office that cupcakes actually lasted out the day. Normally a batch from home will disappear like lighting. Not these ones.
