While the decor at this Indonesian eatery isn't to everyone's taste, it's the food they come in droves for. All the traditional Balinese and Javanese dishes are available, such as chicken satay, coconut and spice braised beef and a selection of Balinese grills with offerings like chicken and eggplant. The fish cooked in banana leaves is also popular. Java has a dedicated following among the Indonesian community and beyond, so expect to wait for a table, especially if dining on a weekend.
