Looking for quality Lebanese outside of the city? Just a 30-minute drive from the CBD takes you to Jasmin1 Lebanese Restaurant, or if you're from the Bankstown area, it's an easy find on South Terrace. While the dining room is fairly modern, it's also full of Middle Eastern artworks to get you in the mood for the food.
Jasmin1 harks back to traditional Lebanese flavours, with mixed plates a key feature. It's especially hard to turn down a fresh mixed plate of grilled chicken, kafta, shish kebab, falafel, fried kebbe, tabouli, and hummus and baba ghanoush dips, made fresh on the day. Of course, you can always succumb happily to the temptations of the kebab, seafood, and barbecued offerings.
