This restaurant is another down-to-earth, family-orientated creation from Jamie Oliver, the English chef who has made his brand internationally recognisable. His love of Italian food comes from his cooking mentor, who taught him that Italian meals should be simple, fresh and "cooked with passion". This translates at Jamie's Italian, where some of Australia's best produce is cooked in familiar, family-favorite dishes.
To create a relaxed feel, diners are asked not to make reservations, so they can "turn up any time for a quick meal". An added plus is the pasta is cooked onsite right in front of your eyes, the process displayed through the front window of the restaurant.
