Jamie's is a long-held favourite around these parts. Everyone knows and loves both the place and the man for the excellent coffees, bites and chats on offer, and for the fact that Jamie remembers most orders and faces that have passed through his doors over the years (he's like the rainman of coffee), which is why you'll see so many regulars popping in and dropping the old "just the usual thanks, Jamie" - exactly the kind of place you want your local cafe to be. Now open late Thursday through Sunday and operating as a little wine bar of sorts, the place is fast becoming a favourite for its selection of Aussie wines and beers, including White Rabbit, Stone&Wood and Murrays Nirvana Pale Ale, and bites that go oh-so-perfectly with them. Another reason to make Jamie's your local if you haven't already.
