Good food, great service
Food is great as usual. We've been to the isthmus for many years now and so far they've done very little changes to their menu. The oysters were simply magnificent, and the pandan chicken too is my personal favourite as the chicken is nicely wrapped in pandan leaf and tastefully presented. The red duck curry is a must try as well as the chicken pai nai (grilled chicken) and the beef curry rendang and the chocolate pudding is simply well presented.
Service is attentive and friendly as usual. Cutlery and plates were changed for new ones after the entree and mains. Definitely deserves much more that the previous post has commented, though there is more room for improvement such as the choices of wine by the glass. Overall, good food with great service.

Thai-tanic disapointment
We have been on Melbourne for 18 months now, the food is generally awesome but tonight we had an awful experience. The food here is below par and the arrogance of the people was appalling. They must have been good in the past but no more. They realised by the amount left on our plate that we were not happy and didn't even ask if we enjoyed it, you could tell they were embarrassed by the quality. You can go to Orlando Thai in Bay st and pay half the price for double the quality. (We are locals not related to the above).

A great night. Impeccably attentive service, we tried all of the entrees to get a taste of everything and then polished off a duck salad. A wonderful mix of flavours. Well worth visiting. A final note: the courtyard at the back would be perfect in summer.
