Meshing local Australian produce and Japanese cooking methods is Ishiya's claim to fame, offering delicacies such as the Ishiya Deluxe stonegrill with tenderloin, fish fillet, chicken and prawn. Vegetarians need not worry, as there's a plentiful menu of vegie tempura, stir-fries and even a stonegrill of tofu, lotus root, zucchini, tomato and mushrooms. Countering the crack and sizzle of the food, the decor has a cool and modern feel, peppered with wooden booths and cushioned seats for comfortable group dining.

Will certainly go back again!
I've been to a couple other Japanese stonegrill in other cities, this one in melbourne has the best value!! I absolutely love the food, very creative and tasty, Love their selection of sake, a must go in melbourne.
