Nestle into Noosaville's nourishing new pizza and tapas restaurant on Gympie Terrace, where stunning views of the Noosa River are an everyday sight to behold. iS Tapas and Pizza Bar emerged in 2008 after the owners, the Withers family, made a sea change from Melbourne to Noosaville. They have quickly established a reputation in the area for making top-notch Mediterranean and Spanish-infused fare that includes share plates, gourmet pizzas and hearty burgers.
Tapas titbits include prawns piri piri with a mild chilli, tomato and pepper marinade, crumbed Spanish jumbo green olives stuffed with fetta, and shredded duck with sticky black currants and green chilli. From the pizzas, the Picoso shows off an appealing range of toppings with pepperoni, lamb meatballs, baby spinach and chilli. It's no wonder that this fully licensed and BYO venue has become popular with locals and the frequent holiday-makers who just can't resist the magnificent water views and the laidback, beach vibe unique to Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

Fantastic!
My friends and I just wanted a light meal and a drink for lunch on our weekend away when we stumbled across iS. The waitress who served us was excellent - friendly, accommodating, quick and so helpful. Nothing was too hard for her - particularly when we wanted to split the bill, use cash, use cards....she just helped in any way she could and all with a smile.
The food was great and it was so nice to eat it looking out over the beautiful noosa river. The sangria was great and topped off a fantastic lunch.
Highly recommended!
