Simply the best Indian ever!!

If you love Indian food... you have to try Taj... simply spectacular. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is distinctly Indian.

Enjoyable evening

My husband and I went here for dinner after reading reviews on this website. It was most definitely worth the visit. The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. We also thought that it was good value for money and will surely be going back again.

We'll be back (again and again)

We've been to Taj Mahal a few times last year and were only mildly unimpressed but returned because they are very near to where we live. The last two times we've been have been wow wow WOW! I don't know if they have a new chef but the food was fantastic, plentiful and excellent value. For less than $50 we had bread, rice, two starters, two mains, two glasses of wine and a side dish. The saag gost was truly delicious and the lamb madras incredibly more-ish. We walked away completely over-fed and very, very satisfied. The place was packed for a Wednesday night so we mustn't be the only ones to like this jewel...best book ahead.

Curry in a hurry

Four of us ate here tonight and had a great time. The service was not as fast as you'd expect and the waitress forgot about refilling the water every now and again, but the Saag Gost was delicious as was the Vindaloo, Nariyal and Mango Chicken curry. All up with dessert it cost us just over $100 with $2.50pp corkage fee. I'll be back!
