This small, family-owned and run Indian restaurant is in the middle of Adelaide city's new residential precinct. Most repeat business is for takeaways, and a steady stream of patrons enter and exit in regular procession from early in the evening. The muted cream walls have accents of red and green around the servery, while the dining room is headed by a small but ornate wooden bar. The contrast of style and colour may be a distraction, but the aromas from the kitchen will have you focusing on the food in no time. There are a number of specialties, but the ones to try are the prawn dishes. Netra's specialty is the prawn til tinka, a deep-fried pocket of light and earthy flavoured batter topped with toasted sesame seeds. The rich flavour of the prawn is captured in the batter, enhanced by earthy spices in the seasoning.

Excellent food and good value
These dishes are especially tasty prawns til tinka, chicken pistachio, eggplant curry and the naan bread. Indian Delights has a casual cafe atmosphere. I would surely recommend Indian Delights to anyone that's serious about good food and great value.

too good netra!
Consistently great authentic indian food. Friendly atmosphere & within the city. The dishes are tasty especially the chicken vindaloo ( extra extra hot on my request), chicken spinach, rogan josh, channa masala and eggplant masala. this has been our weekly fix for the last 3 years. I genuinely recommend to anyone that's serious about good sumptious Indian food.

Delicious, good value, sweet family
Fish and prawn dishes are indeed delicious, gorgeous naan, kashmiri pilau, eggplant curry... we are repeat consumers and everything we have ever had was just lovely, especially the attentive (but not intrusive) service! Indian Delights has a casual cafe atmosphere, not fancy but fastidiously tidy. Netra and family are good hosts.
