Always fantastic!
I go to this restuarant 4 or 5 times a month and the food is always fantastic whether it be pizza, pasta, soup, seafood or meat dishes. The service is very friendly and they are always offering wonderful wine and dessert options.

very oily
I went to Il Trattoraro on saturday night with 3 friends for dinner and we all ordered a variety of dishes. The one thing that was common among our assessments was that the food was over done with olive oil. Some dishes appeared to be swimming in it.

I ordered the Nannata (NZ whitebait) for entree and while it was tasty enough, it was very oily on the outside and very dry in the middle. The Pizza was nice though with hot salami, anchovies, olives and boccincini but as for my friends dishes, it was fairly ordinary.

The service was okay without being bad or overly good, although this could have something to do with the fact that it was quite busy.

Overall, I would certainly recommend this restaurant for their pizzas but not for much else.
