The tiny, elegant Il Piave is a gem amidst the eclectic shops and cafes on the Rozelle end of Darling Street. Chef Vanessa Martin has a loyal following at this marvellous restaurant. Whether you order veal involtini (with prosciutto, Asiago cheese, white wine and sage) or the simply superb gnocchi in rich cheese sauce, make sure you leave room for dessert, even if it's 'only' the affogato of latte gelato, espresso and liqueur.

Buonissimo!
By far the best Italian food in the Inner West of Sydney. The restaurant is smart, modern and stylish. The food is exceptional and the wine list small but very impressive. The service is very professional and friendly. Perfect for a special occasion, or just in need of some good Italian food.
