A little too cool for school, this slick new addition to Cottesloe's coastal dining scene is run by an enthusiastic team, with Nic Trimbole their leader. Once the sun-soaked, brash and colourful La Tropicana, the venue is stripped back, now offering an understated cool atmosphere to enjoy the no-frills cuisine. With long, simple tables for communal dining, a stylish menu and an innovative wine list, this is a great place to relax with a group of friends. Order the pearl onion risotto with rosemary-crusted lamb chops.
Gourmet Travller 2009 Australian Restaurant Guide - "Restaurant impresario Nic Trimbole scored when he themed his newest as modern Italian with a chic 60s feel, installed communal seating at long tables and named it after the flats next door."

Likeable
Cool, funky, quite refreshing. A nice addition compared to the usual fare in Cottesloe. Servings are not huge but are well priced and leave you feeling content. Great wine list, knowledgeable staff. Food is good without being great but well worth a second visit. Shared tables contribute to the atmosphere.
