Loosely translated as "the oven", il forno is what this place is all about. If the pizza oven is good then the pizzas will be good; and these pizzas are popular among Sandgate locals.
Traditional woodfired pizzas are the specialty here. Italian-trained chefs Jane and Marco Agostini moved to Sandgate a few years ago from Europe and brought with them their passion for the pinnacle of Italian cuisine - the pizza. Of course, one of the best accompaniments to a fresh, hot pizza is a nice cold beer and there are plenty on offer here, including their own in-house label.
