Attention to detail!
We took two students to dinner (big appetites!). Right from the outset, staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food was very generous in proportions and nothing was left on the plates! Lovely interior. Friendly and fun! Looking forward to the next visit.

Great night out!
On a recent trip to Melbourne, from Sydney, we embarked on a trip down to Lygon Street. We came across this quaint bluestone restaurant known as Il Cantuccio. Unlike many restaurants on Lygon Street, we were not persuaded with complementary bread or wine by their wait staff to get us inside and we read their menu at our own pace.
We were delighted with the freshness and tastiness of our food. We ate some homemade delicacies such as the gnocchi and agnolotti. The rib eye steak is 400g and comes with a very generous serving of fresh roasted vegetables. We finished our evening with homemade chocolate mousse and homemade panna cotta.
In all, Il Cantuccio was a fantastic find and we will definately be dining here again in the near future.
