Cheap and tasty sums up this Italian eatery. The decor is very simple but the focus is really on their famous homemade pastas. The outside tables are perfect for sitting back with a coffee and watching Bourke Street bustle by. One of the pioneers of the no-bookings policy in Sydney, it's best to arrive early, or wait at the bar across the road in patient anticipation of the tasty, cheaply priced pastas and modern Italian mains.

Still got it!
After having a Risotto craving and hearing about how good they were, we finally made a date to return. Definitely worth the raves we heard about it, and the Pesto Risotto in particular was superb. Companions had Duck Ragu, and Gnocchi and the praise was unanimous! Affordable, attitude free staff, great food. Definitely give it a shot! Well done guys!

Authentic Italian
Great little pasta joint. Very authentic Italian food. Simple menu. I love going to this place. I like the fact that there is no reservation or else I would have to make a booking 2-3 weeks in advance! The duck ragu was great. The lasagna was great. Mushroom risotto was also good. The simple pasta is also good for lunch. Good entrees as well very simple Italian food.

Well worth a visit
This place has been around for years and it's STILL faultless - the food is sensational, the staff brilliant and Gabi, the owner, superb! It can be a bit noisy when packed, but that's a small price to pay.
