This modern Japanese restaurant specialises in the kind of food that westerners don't usually associate with Japan, and offers a more casual and relaxed style of eating than we may be used to when eating Japanese, too. Yakatori are chicken skewers that are barbequed at the table and usually eaten as bar snacks (tapas-style) or served along with other dishes to make up a substantial meal. The vibe here is relaxed and casual, with the choice of sitting at the bar and enjoying a few serves of yakatori between sips of cold beer, or sitting down for a full-blown meal.
