Light and crispy-crusted, the handmade pizzas are covered in toppings such are roma tomato, wild rocket and prosciutto. Flawlessly brewed Italian espresso is the staple post-dinner drink, and it's best accompanied with an enormous scoop of Ice's own Bliss - caramelized banana gelato. Is there any better way to spend an evening? This small, low-lit little restaurant is situated in the centre of Sydney's funky dining capital of King Street, Newtown, and is a favourite with many of the arty and bohemian types native to the area. With plenty of glass and candles on every table, the place is pretty as a picture come sunset, the relaxed, romantic atmosphere matched only by the highly sought after items on the menu. There are more than 24 uniquely lovely flavours found at the gelato bar, including walnut, balsamic strawberry and vanilla bean, along with the much-loved classic chocolate.

Best pizza in Newtown
Pizza is the best in Newtown. Fresh, tasty ingredients. My favourite is the Queenslander pizza and Pistacio gelato. They also have great banquet menus!

We went to Ice & Slice for an end-of-semester dinner. The food was good (beautiful pizza) and it didn't cost too much!

Great gelato and coffee. Tried the pizza today for the first time and it was sensational. Light, crisp, simple, well-balanced flavours. Will definitely be back.
