Great all rounder
Huy Huy is our new favourite. It ticks more boxes than most Vietnamese restaurants. The service is friendly and efficient - they remember us and always greet with a smile. The food is sparkling fresh, as you'd expect of a place across the street from Footscray market. The Cambodian soup is a knockout! The place itself is simple, laminex and tiles, the ubiquitious large screen TV, par for the course in soup/noodle cafes. What really sets it apart though is cleanliness - not clinical, but by comparison with its peers (other restaurants of this type or in this area), it is a cut above and a great comfort if you're a bit paranoid.
