Situated in the Swan Valley, "Western Australia's most-awarded winery" offers a cellar door experience filled with bubbly enjoyment for all, especially since you can buy your sparkling then and there, and sip it slowly at the on-site Houghton Cafe. The share plates are the way to go if you like a little bit of this and that, and you can choose from various platters matched carefully to your selected drop. Among the lighter options is a chickpea and tomato braise for those with gluten-free, vegan and lactose-free diets.

Mother's Day 2010
Our family booked a table underneath the vines for 6 adults and 3 children for mother's day. We found the staff very helpful, informative and pleasant to deal with both on the phone and on our arrival. I recommend getting the Bandit Platter which is excellent value. All diets were easily catered for (as grandma is gluten intolerant) and were informed everything was made fresh in-house. Staff were all well informed and could answer any concerns with the menu. The mum's were all extremely happy with their day and were quite cheerful after a glass or two. Can't wait to go back.
