The restaurant inside this very contemporary, open plan pub is certainly unique. A large central bar separates the dining area from the sports bar. The restaurant itself is furnished in beige and chocolate and features a large wooden communal table, floor to ceiling glass, paperbarks and yucca plants, which create a distinct indoor-is-outdoor feel.

Family celebrations - excellent time again
Celebrating our parent's 60th wedding anniversary, Dad's 90th birthday and youngest sister's 20th wedding anniversary, we decided to head again to the Monier where we'd been some 5yrs previously. 9 children, 27 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild really enjoyed themselves; only the fourth time in 60yrs all of us were in the one place together. Management and the waiting/bar/cooking staff all did a great job; the hot finger food was especially nice. The younger kids loved the games room and we loved the bit of peace when the kids where in there. Thanks Monier

If you're looking for somewhere to go for a quick, value for money lunch, this is the place to go. The Monier at lunchtime is full of business lunchers and after you've eaten here, you'll know why! Generous portions, excellent lunch menu with most meals around $12 that are enough to satisfy any hungry bloke. Our company goes there at least 3 times a month. I've never been at dinner time, but I presume the food would be as good as at lunch time. It is a pub, but has a open plan atmosphere, inside or outside.

Hotel Monier, Darra
What a great find! A very family-friendly restaurant with a fantastic kids' room behind glass so you can enjoy your meal and see them at all times. The kids are entertained and happy. The meals are very generous and they have a very good range on offer. Always busy, so book early.
