Blending equal parts friendly local and gastro-pub, this bistro offers a great range of moderately priced meals that cater to varied tastes.
The menu ranges from pub grub classics such as nachos and fried calamari to more refined dishes such as a Thai beef salad or prawn risotto with chorizo and rocket. The old favourite chicken parma is put on a pedestal at the Kew, with half a dozen different variations on the bistro original. Carnivorously inclined diners will find it hard to go past the aged Black Angus rib eye with herb mash, sauteed spinach and a red wine jus.
