Head up the hill from Horseshoe Bay after a long day of coastal recreation for a rejuvenating meal and ale at the Hotel Elliot. The rustic and charming pub has been transformed by the Duffield family from a tired old hotel to a classy but comfy mod-Oz eatery, serving a seasonal menu of local produce.
Chargrilled steaks, seafood and fresh pasta are all featured with special dishes such as the beer battered Coorong mullet with salad greens and homemade tartare sauce a favourite with locals.

Very impressed
Hotel Elliot was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. The dining room was really comfortable, the staff were friendly and despite being a bit worried about the steep "pub" prices the food was delicious and the serves were worth the money paid. Will definitely return the next time I am down that way.
