From its early days as a retail building in the 1890s, to its first days as a good old-fashioned pub from the 1930s, Hotel Concord retains a distinct connection to its history and its own community today. A little nip and tuck in 2009 brought the pub a renewed feel without losing its rustic - and friendly - edge. Owned by former Wallaby Bill Young, Hotel Concord keeps sports fans happy with live screenings of games and matches, as well as poker tournaments and pub trivia (if you count that as a sport - albeit a beer-soaked team sport). Meanwhile, for everyone else, the modern bistro offers a variety of popular steak and seafood dishes, ranging from Angus scotch fillet to fresh crumbed prawn cutlets.
