Hot on the heels of the opening of Spice I Am's spinoff in the Triple Ace Bar, Sydney now has another abode of authentic Thai cooking.

Home by name and home by nature, this eatery specialises in traditional dishes you'd find in any Thai household. The usual "westernised" suspects are on the menu but are blessedly more authentic than some watered-down interpretations.

To fully appreciate your Home experience, be brave and order something a bit left of centre. The tom liead moo (pig organ meat and blood in broth with fried garlic and celery) may not be for everyone but it's a much more accurate representation of true home-style Thai and a great dish on its own for offal aficionados. It's well worth braving the crowds at night for the extended menu (particularly the skewed pork neck) but get in early as these guys don't take reservations and fill up fast.
