Hollywood Palace

You may not see Nicole Kidman or Russell Crowe, but if they were out on a bender in Melbourne, you can be sure they'd end up here for some of the best souvlaki in town.

Unbelievable
I must say, Hollywood Palace lives up to its name. It literally is the best souvlaki I've eaten ever. The food was fresh and it was very busy. There was no sign of a grumpy old man, the only grumpy old man is the last reviewer on this page.
The food was fantastic, the service was fast, the atmosphere was great and I rate it a 5 star souvlaki restaraunt!
Well done!

On my way home from work dinner
I've been before and I cannot say a bad thing. Most 24-hour places are shocking and very dirty. This place they seem to know what they are doing, at 4am the lettuce was fresh and so was the rest of the food! I love their falafel kebab and their hamburgers are great. This is going to be my new takeaway place!

Not a restaurant
I can't understand what this place is doing in a list of restaurants. Don't waste any money on this dump. It's a greasy spoon joint with a grumpy rude old man doling out well over-cooked chunks of something with a few shreds of tired lettuce. I forget the price but it wasn't worth it. Food rarely gets as bad as this was. I only stopped here because I had to eat something (diabetic) but next time I'll crawl somewhere else.
